Cruachan Stoer B&B is a place to stay, not just a place to sleep. A space to unwind after a busy day, feet up by the fire, a truly good night’s sleep, and a hearty breakfast to set you up for whatever tomorrow brings. Once you settle in, you’ll find yourself wishing you were staying a little longer.
The Assynt area of the North West Highlands offers dramatic mountains to hike, white-sand beaches, lochs to swim in, and wide open countryside to explore.
Often described as one of the most beautiful places in the world, it offers everything you need for an adventurous break or a deeply relaxing escape. Slow down, switch off, and enjoy time away from it all with us at Cruachan.
We are located seven miles north of Lochinver on the single-track B869, just one mile from Clashnessie Beach.
Stay
We currently offer four en-suite bedrooms, one twin on the ground floor and three doubles upstairs.
There is a dining room and sitting room featuring a welcoming log fire, making it an ideal space to relax at the end of the day. A sauna is also available in the garden for guests to enjoy.
The Victorian home has high ceilings and generous rooms, with original period features that add warmth, character, and timeless charm throughout.
